I've been passionate about filmmaking - it's power to tell stories and capture human experiences - since I was 7 years old and made my first stop-motion animation film.

My earliest storytelling began with comics I drew and panels I wrote - and then transferred to live-action backyard location shoots with childhood friends.

The passion to tell stories in film followed me to college in SoCal where I studied Film & Media; and then over to Berlin where I studied German. I traveled extensively while there, immersed myself in the arts scene, and expanded my exposure to the cultural histories of Eastern & Western Europe. I became fluent in German, gained new perspectives as well as an even greater appreciation for the diversity of experiences that can be brought life through film.
